Today's Presentation

The whole concept behind it is remarkable but how many people would actually go for this? It definitely is convenient and would save time and hassle in the checkout line. However the risks involved would be far more substantial than any gain associated with biometrics on a mass level. With the world being so paranoid about identity theft and computer hackers, it seems to me that the mass population would be against this type of thing. While it was stated that the fingerprint could not be traced back from the numerical translation, this numerical translation is tied into bank accounts and if someone were ever able to hack into the paybytouch database, massive problems would arise.
