A Customer Horror Story!!!

*I must point out, that this customer which we currently service, was compromised prior to us handling their IT consulting services!!!

As Perfect Integration was contacted to look into a specific clients network security concerns, here is what we found:

1. They had PUBLIC ip addresses plugged in to the local machines
2. The router had ALL SERVICE PORTS OPEN (completed exposed)
3. Server was somehow made into a IRC Server for file sharing (users would upload/ download info using this box)
4. Their Current "IT guy" was stealing customer Bank account info.

*This customer was experiencing network slowness, intermittent disconnect form the server, and other weird un-explainable glitches. This was a HUGE security issue, and compromised the business not only financially but legally. Perfect Integration was able to spend about 10 hours on-site to clean up all the issues and set the network up according to standards. The customer was lucky further damage was not done!
